The important bits
Privacy notice
A plain-English explanation of what happens to the details you share with me.
Who I am
This website belongs to Emma, trading as Willow & Kin, based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk. I am responsible for any personal information you send me through this website, and you can contact me about it at any time on 07444 051746 or by email at hello@willowandkin.co.uk.
What the contact form collects
When you send an enquiry, the form collects:
- your name
- your email address and/or phone number
- whether the enquiry is for you or for someone close to you
- your message
- confirmation that you’re happy for me to reply
I use these details only to reply to your enquiry and, if we decide to go ahead, to arrange visits. I will never sell your details or use them for marketing.
Please don’t include medical details or other sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. If something like that is relevant, we can talk about it in person.
Why I’m allowed to use it
I use your details because you have asked me to get in touch (your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form), and so that we can take steps towards an arrangement if you would like one. You can withdraw your consent at any time by letting me know.
Who else handles it
The contact form is processed by Web3Forms, a form-handling service that passes your message on to my email inbox. You can read how they handle information in the Web3Forms privacy policy at web3forms.com.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
I don’t share your details with anyone else unless the law requires me to.
How long I keep it
If we don’t go on to arrange visits, I delete your enquiry after 12 months. If we do, I keep your contact details for as long as we have an ongoing arrangement, and delete them when it ends unless I need to keep something for legal or tax reasons.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn’t set any cookies and doesn’t use tracking or analytics. If Cloudflare, which hosts the site, ever needs to check that a visitor isn’t an automated bot, it may set a short-lived security cookie (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance). These are strictly necessary for security and aren’t used for tracking.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
- ask me to correct anything that’s wrong
- ask me to delete your information
- ask me to stop using it, or object to how I’m using it
- withdraw your consent at any time
Just get in touch and I’ll respond within one month.
Making a complaint
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, please tell me first and I’ll do my best to put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
